BLENDY STEPS DOWN
Posted on April 6th, 2010
After almost four years with the band, Jon Blendy, Missiles and Markers guitarist and back up vocalist, decided it was time to move on. While shifting Corey from guitar to bass was an easy adjustment, the band was still in need of a bassist. With only a month before their summer tour, Joey Ginexi was a lucky find. A long time friend and fan of Missiles and Markers, it took little time for Joey to get acquainted with the bands material. The boys are ready to introduce the newest member of the band at The Clash Bar on May 8th, where Joey will be playing his first show.

In hopes of making some quick cash, the boys from Missiles and Markers decided to set up a kissing booth offstage at the 2009 Vans Warped Tour. "We make out with everything," says drummer Joe Ott, which they did for two bucks a pop. Whether the band got more attention for their set or for their good looks, they walked away with hundreds of new fans and nothing a little mouthwash and penicillin can't fix.

SPRING RELEASE FOR MxM'S: THIS WAS NO BOATING ACCIDENT
Posted on January 1st, 2010
After a year and a half of songwriting among the band, MxM was ready to record their first full length album: This Was No Boating Accident. With no shortage of catchy choruses, poppy guitar riffs and singalong lyrics, Chris and the band pieced together a collection of songs that promises to stay stuck in your head for days. Before recording the second half of the album at Water Music, the boys played and polished their new songs on the 2009 Warped Tour. Judging from the crowd's reaction, the album will do just fine. "It was a big surprise to see kids singing along in cities like Milwaukee and Chicago, even though we had never been there before," says guitarist Mark Cebula. "We must be doing something right." INFIDEL hasn't set an exact date for the album's release but everyone is hoping to get their hands on it by early spring.

MISSILES AND MARKERS BEGINS FILMING THE UNREAL WORLD
Posted on December 25th, 2009
By the time Chris's father has his suitcase in the car, MxM plans to have cameras rolling as they begin to film their first week of the Unreal World. A take off of MTV's The Real World, the boys plan to document their everyday debauchery while Chris's dad is out of town. Having an entire house to themselves, there's no telling what kind of trouble they'll get in. "We figure if this music thing doesn pan out, we'll try to get picked up by NBC," jokes Joe Ott, MxM's drummer. The band has plans for a group therapy session, a girlfriend swap and eventually the return of Chris's dad. Stay tuned for new episodes being posted next month on Missiles and Markers myspace. MxM
